Summary
Comedian Mike Birbiglia’s hilarious yet profound one-man show recounts his emotional and physical journey to parenthood. In this 80-minute monologue, Mike brilliantly explores the subject of parenthood, from his initial reluctance to have kids to his humiliating visits to a fertility doctor to the explosion of stuff once he and his wife Jenn welcome the New One into their lives.
History
The New One premiered off-Broadway at the Cherry Lane Theatre on August 2, 2018. Directed by Seth Barrish, the production starred playwright Mike Birbiglia. On November 11, 2018, the show made its Broadway premiere at the Cort Theatre.
